I’ve been drawing and designing ever since I was a kid, and would enter (and frequently win) art contests for fun. Some of my fondest memories are staying home sick from school and watching Bob Ross and Secret City on TV.
As a senior in high school I was awarded the Most Artistic superlative, but decided not to major in art in college because at the time the internet didn’t exist yet, and the only art career I knew of was “Starving Artist”. I knew I loved creating things, but didn’t think I could make a living from it. However, I continued to sketch in my free time and drew pet portraits to give as gifts.
I’ve had a lot of interesting and exciting jobs over the years, and after moving to Florida I started getting small parts in movies and TV shows. Along came the internet, and I taught myself how to make a website to keep my family back in Maine up to date on my crazy life. I decided to put my fine art hobby on hold to dive into website and digital design for the following 10 years.
Then I got married. Had kids. Got divorced.
Now I’m a single Mom to two crazy, lovable boys who inspire and test me every single day. The best parts of running a business from home are:
- spending more time with my kids
- doing something I really enjoy
- seeing my sons drawing in their sketchbooks while Mommy is working
I love food, fitness, music and nature. I also love taking on new projects and I always do my best to make sure my clients are happy. I look forward to working with you!
